***Diagnostic or general courses offer candidates a range of creative experiences by covering several of Art & Design activities including Drawing & Painting, Sculpture, Visual Communications & Textiles allowing candidates to develop a portfolio of creative work often used for application to more advanced or specialist courses.

****Specialist courses concentrate on a particular subject area within art or design allowing candidates to develop specific skills in creative and contextual practice which can lead to advanced entry to specialist degree courses or professional practice.
